For the past 20 years I have been coming to VCI or now CIC. I have determined that hte Royal Resorts have the best consierges.

We are arriving at the Royal Haciendas in 10 days and we sent an e-mail about 1-1/2 weeks ago with a couple of questions and no on has responded yet. When we stayed at the Royal Haciendas in the spring the concierge contacted us a month before arrival to see if there was anything that they could help us with. This time no one has contacted us at all. How can we get a response?

Dear Joanne: Thank you for writing to Royal Resorts News, here are the answers to your questions. You will be able to enjoy the beach in front of The Royal Sands during your vacation regardless of the beach restoration project. The latest news on the the beach program is that the pipes have been assembled and the dredger has arrived and is anchored off the coast in front of Plaza Forum. However restoration work has not begun yet due to the fact that a conservation group in Cozumel has resorted to legal action to prevent the dredging of sand for Cancun from a sandbank to the north of Cozumel, even though the project was approved by the Mexican Environmental Agency. This has caused another delay while negotiations take place. The Beach Restoration Committee has issued a bulletin saying that the project will still go ahead and we can only wait for further news from the authorities and will post updates as soon as we have them.
The lock offs at The Royal Sands all have small refrigerators, microwave ovens and coffee makers. I hope that this helps and that you enjoy your vacation.

We will be staying at the Royal Sands from 11/28-12/5 and would like to get an update on the beach reconstruction for that time frame. Also, can you tell me if there is a microwave and fridge in the lockoff units?
