We would like to inform you that as a result of negotiations with the Cancún Taxi Union and the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Royal Resorts has been asked to reduce the frequency of the inter-resort shuttle between The Royal Islander, The Royal Caribbean, The Royal Mayan, Captain’s Cove and The Royal Sands. As of September 5, 2010, departures will now be hourly from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with an additional late service at 10 p.m. Buses will leave The Royal Sands from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and at 10:30 p.m.
The Saturday shuttle service will be available from 5 to 8 p.m. between The Royal Islander, The Royal Mayan, The Royal Caribbean, Captain’s Cove and The Royal Sands and there will be a late bus at 10 p.m. Departure times from The Royal Sands are 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., respectively. Please note that there is no shuttle service to and from The Royal Cancun on Saturdays.
The new timetable will be posted on the notice boards in the resort motor lobbies.
The shuttle service between The Royal Cancun and The Royal Sands and vice versa will not be affected.
Failure to comply with this request could lead to our license to offer this service being revoked.

Thank you for writing to Royal Resorts News. The resort shuttle does not run on Saturdays between The Royal Cancun and The Royal Sands with the connecting service to The Royal Mayan. However, the bellboys at The Royal Cancun will be happy to help you move your luggage to the lobby and call a taxi to take you to your home resort. You can arrange this by calling ext. 177 in advance. I hope that this helps. Please let me know if I can assist you with anything else.
