Dear Helen: Thank you for writing to Royal Resorts News. The wall is being constructed between Punta Cancun (the northern headland) and an offshore islet called Islote Golondrinas. I wouldn’t imagine that it would affect wave action on the beaches in front of the Royal Resorts, however, I will certainly try and find out more details from beach project engineers. Thanks Joanna, I’m not sure how I got the hotels mixed up a, my apologies. I love that there is a service like you for a resort though and will definitely be looking into your resorts for future trips! Its nice to be able to have updates on the location and someone who actually answers questions in a timely matter.

Will the wall that is being constructed affect the wave action on the beaches? The children as well as the adults of our family like to play and body surf the waves.

Dear Tanner: Thank you for writing to Royal Resorts News. Your hotel is not part of the Royal Resorts and as a result I am unable to supply the information you are requesting on menus and tours. However, I can tell you that beach restoration has already taken place on the shoreline where your hotel is located. I hope that this helps .
