I contacted the Resort Manager for an update and can tell you that the facades of all the buildings in the resort are being painted and that this is a project with several stages. This year, Phase I is being done, finishing with beachfront building E1 this week - Resort Maintenance Week. The Phase II painting project is scheduled to take place during May and June, 2011 and the beachfront building facades will be done in Maintenance Week 2011. From the Villa numbers you gave us, I think that you can look forward to seeing a bright fresh coat of paint on your building. Did you use the guest laundry during your stay? I am mentioning this because we do not pump scent into the air-conditioning system. I hope this helps, I you would like the names of the laundry products available in the resort store I would be happy to send them to you. I must admit to being disappointed that building work will be going on whilst we are visiting, especially as we have been given a pool view unit for our two weeks. Couldn't you have informed guests that this was due to happen, or posted something on the website about it earlier? We've not visited before so I'm unclear whether the closure of La Palapa also means the pool bar will be closed? If so, is there an alternative nearby?
