Hello, my name is Joanna Green. I have been the Royal Resorts Communication Manager for over eight years and a Cancun resident for over 20! Instead of a newsletter owners comments and questions will be posted on the web site www.royalresortsnews.com. So if you have questions about Royal Resorts, the Mexican Caribbean and the Yucatan, please let me know and I will endeavor to answer them for you.

Hola Joanna,
I like the new bridge they built at the RC from the sundeck to the pool. Will everyone be able to use it or is it just for waiters?

Hello Joanna,
At my last visit to the Royal Caribbean in May 2010, we became owners of a week at the Royal Cancun. Now I understand that owners do not have to pay the deposit that is now required. The questions I have are:
1) I have week 41 and if I do an internal exchange for week 25, will I have to pay a deposit?
2) If I purchase a getaway week on Interval International at any of the Royal Resorts will I have to pay a deposit?
3) If I rent a villa to use, through Royal Resorts or book directly through Royal Resorts do I have to pay a deposit?

HI JOANNA, I WAS WONDERING WHY THE
ROYAL RESORTS WEB SITE HAS HAD SO MANY
CHANGES THIS PAST YEAR? IN MY OPPION I FEEL IT HAS GOTTEN TO COMPLICATED. I’M THE FIRST TO ADMIT I’M NO COMPUTER WIZ.

Joanna, I am making preparations for our visit to the Royal Haciendas next month. The Mexican immigration forms request an address for the resort at which we are staying and I can’t seem t find the information from our last trip. What is the proper address for the Royal Haciendas to use on the immigration forms?

Dear Joanna,
We will be taking our 6 year old grandson with us for our 2week stay at the Sands this year – his parents will not be coming.
To alleviate his fears of sleeping alone is it possible to rent a rollaway to put in our master bedroom so that he may sleep in our room in his own bed.

I AM COMING TO THE ROYAL SANDS 7/2-7/10. WE RENTED THE VILLA FOR AN EXTRA NIGHT (JULY 2). MY FRIENDS WILL BE ARRIVING A FEW HOURS BEFORE US. WILL THEY HAVE A PROBLEM CHECKING IN SINCE THE RESERVATION IS IN MY NAME?

In preparation for our 15 visit, I want to make certain things are as they have been in past years. Five will be coming in on Sat.10/16 in 2 different flights about an hour apart. 1)CAN I RENT A PRIVATE CAR FOR 5 TO TAKE US DIRECTLY TO VCI. putting the entire cost on my ONE club card? 2) my wife and I stay 2 weeks so I’d like to send the initial 3 friends back with 2 other friends who also only have one week, replacing us in the private car going BACK to the airport at the end of the first week? Is this OK? Now, our second two friends who will be coming in alone that second Saturday who then return to the airport that second week with us at the end of our two week stay. Once I get solid flight times on all this crew, who do I all to set up these orders and make passenger changes like I’ve described??? Help…it’s a bit confusing! Basically, because most stay one week and my wife and I stay two weeks, the airport return passengers shift around>
