Welcome to the Ask Joanna section of Royal Resorts News.

Hello, my name is Joanna Green. I have been the Royal Resorts Communication Manager for over eight years and a Cancun resident for over 20!  Instead of a newsletter owners comments and questions will be posted on the web site www.royalresortsnews.com. So if you have questions about Royal Resorts, the Mexican Caribbean and the Yucatan, please let me know and I will endeavor to answer them for you.

Rental or sale postings will not be accepted. Furthermore, please bear in mind that in some cases queries will also be answered via email and may not appear in the forum.  Please use common etiquette. Be courteous to your fellow net surfers and avoid insults or offensive material: as is standard procedure on these postings, offensive posts will not be answered.     Dear Rafael, your Royal Resorts Points tally should now be visible. There was a glitch yesterday as the new website went live but I have been informed that it has been fixed.

    Great Site! Can you tell me if WiFi is now available for internet access in all of the Villas at Royal Sands?
    Last year it was only available at limited locations and in the lobby.

    I hope that you could help us retrieve back our points that dissapeared when the new website of royal resorts started. You see we had a total of 600 points and when the new website came about our points are gone…. I sent out e-mails regarding this and no one has even replyied to them. We will see if you will help us……….

    Thank you for a great site. I love reading the up to date news and I appreciate having a place to ask questions and receive a response. I was wondering what the status is of the new restaurant near the Rotunda bar at the Haciendas? We will be coming down during week 41 and 42 and we sure are hoping it will be open by then. Thanks for any information you can share. Robin

    Dear Joanna:

    Has management ever considered selling a line of apparel for members with the logo RoyalResorts Member. When we purchased we received tee shirts that said “member” but that was awhile ago. Perhaps revenue can be generated and members can proudly wear the logo home and away from home. (We know that the logo is available in the gift shop) I’m suggesting member apparel.

    Dear Lynne, thank you for writing to Royal Resorts News. In response to your question, the work currently being carried out on the Phase I pool at The Royal Haciendas should be completed by week 38 as scheduled, provided there are no unexpected events such as bad weather and tropical storms that could cause delays.
